1. Agreement to these Terms
These Terms of Service are an agreement between ChiroVerify ("ChiroVerify," "we," "us," or "our") and the practice, company, or individual that creates an account, accesses the service, or uses the website at chiroverify.net ("Customer," "you," or "your"). By using ChiroVerify, you agree to these Terms.
If you use ChiroVerify on behalf of a chiropractic practice or other organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that organization to these Terms.
2. The service
ChiroVerify is a software service that helps chiropractic practices request and review insurance eligibility and benefit information. The service sends eligibility request information to clearinghouse and payer systems and returns a practice-facing summary of available benefit data.
ChiroVerify is an administrative workflow tool. It does not provide medical advice, legal advice, billing advice, coding advice, claim adjudication, payer enrollment services, or a guarantee of payment. Payer responses may be incomplete, delayed, unavailable, or later changed by the payer. Your practice remains responsible for confirming benefit details, obtaining required authorizations, submitting claims, collecting patient balances, and complying with applicable laws and payer rules.
3. Accounts and authorized users
You are responsible for the accuracy of account information, practice profile details, provider NPI configuration, payer selections, and user access. You must keep login credentials confidential and promptly remove users who should no longer have access.
ChiroVerify may require email verification, multi-factor authentication, bot-protection checks, or other security controls before allowing access to account or eligibility features.
4. Customer responsibilities
You agree that you will not:
- use the service for any unlawful, abusive, or fraudulent purpose;
- submit information unless you have a legitimate treatment, payment, or operational reason to do so;
- attempt to bypass authentication, authorization, rate limits, account restrictions, or usage limits;
- copy, scrape, resell, or reverse engineer the service except as permitted by law;
- upload malware or interfere with the operation of the service; or
- use ChiroVerify to make eligibility, coverage, treatment, or payment guarantees to patients.
5. Patient information and healthcare compliance
ChiroVerify is designed to minimize retained patient information. The current service processes patient eligibility request data to perform a verification and does not store patient records, raw payer eligibility responses, or eligibility result history in the application database.
You are responsible for determining whether your use of ChiroVerify is appropriate for your compliance obligations, including HIPAA and payer-specific requirements. If your organization requires a Business Associate Agreement or another written data protection agreement before submitting protected health information, do not submit protected health information until that agreement is fully executed.
6. Plans, billing, and payment
ChiroVerify offers monthly subscription plans with included successful-check limits and active provider NPI limits. Pricing and plan details are posted on the pricing page and may be updated for new billing periods or new purchases.
For paid subscriptions, payment processing, taxes, receipts, and certain billing communications may be handled by Paddle as merchant of record or payment provider. ChiroVerify does not store full card numbers. Your access may be limited, paused, or canceled for non-payment, charge disputes, abuse, security risk, or violation of these Terms.
7. Availability and changes
We work to keep ChiroVerify available and useful, but the service depends on hosted infrastructure, clearinghouse systems, payer systems, network connectivity, and other third-party services. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features when needed for security, compliance, reliability, vendor changes, or product improvement.
8. Intellectual property
ChiroVerify and its software, design, workflows, parsing logic, documentation, and branding are owned by ChiroVerify or its licensors. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service for your internal practice operations during an active subscription or other authorized account.
9. Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, ChiroVerify disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted operation, and error-free results. We do not guarantee payer response accuracy, benefit availability, claim payment, or authorization approval.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ChiroVerify will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, claim denials, reimbursement decisions, or business interruption. Our total liability for claims relating to the service will not exceed the amounts paid to ChiroVerify for the service during the three months before the event giving rise to the claim.
11. Termination
You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create security or legal risk, fail to pay amounts due, or use the service in a way that could harm ChiroVerify, other customers, payers, clearinghouse partners, or patients.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated Terms will be posted on this page with a new last-updated date. Continued use of the service after an update means you accept the updated Terms.
